After my first trip to the Bushwick Collective last month, I've been itching to go back and see more of the ever evolving street art scene in Brooklyn. I've been holding off, though, because of this past weekend's highly anticipated event--the Collective's Block Party. There were food trucks, beer tents, stilt walkers and heavy rockers, but best of all--live art. Street artists from all over the world came to add their pieces to the Bushwick Collective this weekend, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I'll post more pictures later, but for now, here's some of the art in progress.

See One Art

And! I'm always a fan of the street art turned gallery art. See here for some of my favorites from the pop-up shop, the only piece of shade I enjoyed while at the block party. Cmon, it was the perfect weather to soak up the sun!

Stay tuned for more Brooklyn coming soon! Oh wait...had to leave you with my favorite of the day. You know I love my skull art..
