ARMORY ARTS WEEK, PART 1

Most work weeks consist of me counting down the days until the weekend, but this week's countdown was especially rough. Armory Arts Week brings artists from all over the world to NYC for art shows across the city, and I couldn't wait to see what opening reception and gallery shows had in store for me to indulge in.

For my first stop, I headed to the Highline Loft in Chelsea for an exhibit called Street Wall, where a group of talented street artists did pieces on custom fabricated panels made from reclaimed wood shipping pallets.

Here a few of my favorites from the exhibit..

In the same gallery building, another "Anti-Fair" was going on, specifically for artists who don't have exclusive NYC gallery representation. Power to the independents!

Have a beautiful weekend, everyone! Stay tuned for Armory Arts Week, Part Deux!
